We met at 10am for the cruise. We walked through the botanic gardens past the Opera House to Circular Quay, were we went on a small ferry.
While “cruise” indicates a calm and relaxed movement to me, it was indeed a speed ferry. Not exactly what I call a cruise, but great fun 🙂
We saw all parts of the harbour and finally left at Watson’s Bay, then walked around the South Head of the harbour entrance to a lighthouse and back.
At a nice beach we spent some time and had the chance to go swimming. Because it was cloudy, I was the only one who took that chance.
So far I went swimming at every beache I have visited here 🙂

Around 2pm we took the speed ferry back to Circular Quay, unfortunately it started raining.
It was a good day nevertheless, I really love the coastal walk around the South Head.

I almost forgot to mention: in the botanic gardes we saw big spiders and heaps of flying foxes.
