It’s been 2 weeks since my last more detailed post. That brings me to the end of August and the end of my first month in Melbourne.
That means it’s time for photos 😀

I could not book my flights 1 1/2 years in advance, so I had to change my return flight because it was too early.
Today I got to know the exact dates for my flight back:
On Monday the 16th of April 2012 I fly from Melbourne to Auckland and will have a bit less than 4 weeks to explore New Zealand.
On Sunday the 13th of May 2012 at 17:45 I’m scheduled to land in Frankfurt. That’s mother’s day in Germany – isn’t that lovely?
That said, all is going well here in Melbourne. I’m enjoying my job and the remaining free time even more. Last weekend I was on band camp with Andrew and the music groups from Monash University. I helped out as assistant chef and got to stay for free in return. It was good fun, especially the evenings when I was finished working and hung out with all the aussie students 😀
Apart from that I catch up with friends sometings during the week after work and more often on the weekend. Last Thursday night I was at Dizzy’s Jazz Club with Priscilla, that’s a really cool place 🙂
It was 3 months ago that I left Germany. Although I have seen and experienced so much it doesn’t feel that long. 3 of 12 months abroad have passed, quite quickly I must say. For the next 6 months I will lead a rather average busy life. I am working full time and enjoying my free times in different ways. I won’t blog as continous as in the last 3 months, only when I do something special.
Right in time with the 25% mark I can give you a nice extra: my diving video from the Great Barrier Reef!
The original video was about 45 minutes long and quite boring. I cut out a fair bit and pushed it below 20 minutes. Enjoy!
And another week has passed. Made a tough decision and started working, so far I don’t regret my decision.
It’s been a week since my last post. The time has gone by very fast for me, here is an overview about what I have done.
There are also some nice photos at the end.
