Eifel, Cochem, Nürburgring – Philipp's TravelBlog

This day proved to me once again that I don’t need to go far to see beautiful places.

The roadtrip vom Aachen to Cochem is absolutely beautiful if you stay away from the freeways. In Cochem we met with some Aussie friends and had a stroll around the city before we drove to the Nürburgring where our Aussie friends had booked a trip in the Ring-Taxi along the ~20 km long race track.

Luckily for me they had a spare seat so I could join them. And it was a blast! A damn fast BMW M5 with a professional driver, we overtook Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches like they were scooters! It was amazing, you should try it!
